Amravati Half Marathon 2023 - 1 Edition

Amravati Marathon Association is organizing Half Marathon event from 2016. This HM is well known for its neat and disciplined organization. Participants are the focal point of this Half Marathon. Rs.3,50,000 is the total cash prize across different categories. To encourage the out of Maharashtra runners, special category of Out of Maharashtra runners is created and separate cash prizes are kept for them. Earlier five events were a great success. More and more runners from Maharashtra and runners from other states also started participating. We encourage children to participate and therefore special Children’s Dream Run, a 5 Km event is introduced from the beginning. Children started participating in large number.

Details of event is are given below.

1) Half Marathon, Age Categories: Participants must have completed 18 years of age on the day of event.

a) Male below 45 years of age, OPEN CATEGORY.

Male above 45 years of age, VETERN CATEGORY.

Female below 40 years of age, OPEN CATEGORY.

Female above 40 years of age, VETERN CATEGORY

10 Km POWER RUN : Gents and ladies above 15 years can participate.

5 Km Children’s Dream Run : Children between 10 to 15 years (Boys/Girls)

5 Km Fitness Run: Gents and ladies above 15 years can participate.

Out of Maharashtra Runners, Half Marathon: Special category for runners from out of Maharashtra is created so the runners from other states/country can participate. Even separate cash prizes are also kept for these runners.

RACE DIRECTOR: Dilip Patil is the Race Director for this event. He is keen Marathon Runners and started running from 2003. He ran more than 100 Marathons in India and abroad. International Marathons includes Mumbai, Munich, Prague (Czech Republic), Jungfrau (Switzerland), Dubai, Du-Medoc (France), Amsterdam, New York, Chicago, Abu Dhabi, Leh Ladakh, Pondicherry etc.

He also successfully completed 8 COMRADES MARATHON.
