Herculean" Itf Triathlon- Konark 2023 - 3 Edition

KEY DATES for 3rd edition of "HERCULEAN" ITF Triathlon- Konark 2023

25th of Jan 2023: Last date of Registration  

23rd of Feb to 24th of Feb 2023: Waiver form signing and athlete band collection

23rd of Feb 2023: (Athlete check-in) Expo 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, Unboxing of Bike (Athletes have to pay Rs 300 for unboxing)

Athlete Check-In:

All athletes must complete the Athlete Check-In on Wednesday or Thursday as per schedule. You must bring a valid form of photo ID (Driver's license, Voter's ID, or Passport).

24th Feb 2023: 

Trial Swim: 6:30 am to 7:30 am

Bike route recce ride: 8:00 am to 9:30 am

24th of Feb 2023: 

Bike Drop at Transition area: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm  (Timing tags will be provided to all athletes post bike drop in the transition area, It is Mandatory to deposit the Timing tags when you exit the transition area with your bike. There will be a fine of Rs. 3000 if you lose the Timing tag or misplace it. Athletes will not receive another timing chip and hence will not be allowed to race.

24th of Feb 2023: Mandatory Race Briefing, 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm followed by lunch

25th of Feb 2023: Race Day  

• 5:00 am to 6:00 am Transition area opens for the final check and transition bag drop
• 6:00 am: Olympic tri swim start: Elite followed by Amateur
• 6:15 am: Tri.5 Swim Start
• 6:30 am: HercUlean swim Start

26th of Feb 2023: Awards and Celebration 1 pm onwards

•  Participation in "HercUlean" ITF Triathlon - Konark 2023 is open to all triathletes above the age of 18 years subject to Herculean Triathlon confirmation criteria. 
• All finishers of the "HercUlean" ITF Triathlon - Konark 2023 race will get a Finisher Medal post-completion of the run.
• To be in tandem with nature, "HercUlean" ITF Triathlon - Konark 2023 will go plastic-free. The use of any plastic bottles at the venue as well as on the course, will not be advocated. Water shall be made available at the venue and course in paper cups. Cyclists can use their sippers during cycling.
• Mechanical support is provided by the Team & volunteers of HercUlean Triathlon and they will be available at the start point, and the U-Turn of the 22.5km mark.
• Unboxing and Boxing of the bike will be provided (at the cost of Rs 300 for each activity/bike) during Athlete Check-In hours and post-race on Sunday, 26th of Feb 2023.
