Welcome to Kanya-A-Thon - Run For Sanitary Pads is back with its 5th edition this year .The 5th Edition of an event being organized by the URM Team of the Universal Runners Marathon in association with The Venkateswar School, Gurugram is a charity fundraiser event .
Kanya-A-Thon :
This event with a view to create the awareness and educating them about the benefits of using sanitary pads and encourage the girls to use sanitary pads to lead a better & healthy life.It has been a charity Run  to change the lives of young girls with respect to education, nutrition, immunization and their overall well being.  our participants that we have and are able to continue to impact many lives through our noble initiative.
Kanya-A-Thon  2023   will be held on March  19th 2023 at Gurugram, where it has traditionally been held over the last few years.

Our Purpose:
URM is organising this event with a view to create the awareness and educating them about the benefits of using sanitary pads and encourage the girls to use sanitary pads to lead a better & healthy life.Through our Run ,we aim to improve the health and quality of the life for girls & women who are underprivileged and can't afford the sanitary pads and will educate them with the benefits of using sanitary pads for their own safety. We need your support to reach needy girls/women with sanitary products this year.
Our Mission:
Stop The Spot , many Girls and women who can’t afford sanitary pads during their Periods.Only 35% of India’s Menstruating women use sanitary pads .Every woman has a chance to aspire for ahealthier and wonderful life !Contribute sanitary pads for underprivileged girls and women.
We come together as one to make things right .So ,participate to help this noble cause. I look forward to your support for this initiative .

(3). 5.25 Km Run with Timing Chip
Race Start Time : 6:15 AM
Cut Off Time : 1 Hrs
Registration Fee : 1100Rs/-
Prizes : Trophy for Top 3 Runners Male & Female in below age categories.

8 yrs to 18 yrs
18.1 yrs to 30 yrs

(4). 3 Km Run without Timing Chip 
Race Start Time : 7:00 AM
Cut Off Time : 45 minutes
6 years to 65 Above 
Registration Fee : 900 Rs/-
Prizes : Trophy for Top 3 Runners Male & Female in below age (6 yrs To 65 yrs Above )

Registration Fee : 800/-

On Race Day :
All The Participants will get water station , Energy Drink & first Aid on per 2 km , Start & Finishing Point, Finisher Medal ,Winners Trophy , Energy Drink & Refreshment After Completing Run online Timing Certificate & Race Result Available On Website  Next 2 Days From The Event Date .

Note : Timing certificate from this event can be used to qualify for all major Marathons in India"

All The Registered Participants will get :Without Timing Chip Bib Number ,DryFit T-shirt , Winner Trophy, Certificate, Customized Finisher Medal & Refreshment After Completing Run. Kanya -A-Thon - Reporting & Flag Off Timing :

- REPORTING TIME :21km - 5:00 AM, 10.55 Km - 5:30 Am, 5.25 km- 6:00 Am , 3km - 6:30 Am
- Flag Off Time : 21km -5:30 AM
-Flag Off Time : 10.55 km -5:45 AM
-Flag Off time : 5 km - 6:30 Am

-Flag Off Time : 3km - 7:20 Am 

- Registration Closing Date : 12th March  2022

Deliverables:
- DryFit T-shirt to all Participants
- Timing chip for only Half Marathon ,10.55 Km and 5.25 Km run
- Medals and E- certificate to all Participants

Rules & Regulations :

1.Please do not litter the route. We will have dustbins all along the route.
2.Runners will get Finisher Medal , Energy Drink & Refreshments after finishing their running.
3. . Event Photos , Race Result & Timing Certificate download after 1 day from the event date. Participants will get race result website & photos link on their E-mail ID & Universal Runners  Facebook Page : https://www.facebook.com/universalrunners28/
4.Participants need to be at least 5 years old for the 3km run , participants need to be at least 8 years old for the 5km run .
5.Participants need to be at least 12 years old for the 10.55 km run
6. Participants need to be at least 18  years old for the 21.1 km ( HALF MARATHON )
7 . Baggage Store Counter will be there on Race Day .
8. The Parking Area will be there .
9. (Chest No.) Bib No. and T-shirt Collection not Available On Race Day for local Runners .
10. Bib Number & T-shirt Collection Date , Venue & Timings details will be updated After Closing Registration , Participants will get mail also.
11.No refunds of registration amount or transfer of registration.
12.Please call for an ambulance or aid if you ever do feel dizzy or unsteady

I affirm and state that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for participating in the designated race. I have been certified to be physically fit by licensed medical practitioner and agree to indemnify the organizers its agents, employees and associates, the organizing committee and other persons connected to the event against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities, claims or proceedings arising out of any misstatement and/ or misrepresentation made herein.
