Vadodara Marathon was started in 2009, and is an independent Chapter-25 Non-Profit Company that engages in the activity of conducting marathons in Vadodara on an annual basis. Vadodara Marathon is accredited by  Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and Baroda District Amateur Athletics Association (BDAAA) which is the largest sporting event in Gujarat.

Every edition of VM draws attention of  proficient sprinters from everywhere throughout the world and from India; alongside the residents from urban communities and towns of Gujarat.

Supporting Sports, Seva, Swachhta and Sahyog, the Vadodara International Marathon is back again for the 9th edition on 05th January 2020. Touted to be the biggest marathon in Gujarat, the marathon intends to encourage  wellbeing and healthy lifestyle by urging the residents to improve and adapt a fitness oriented and healthy habits.  MG Vadodara International Marathon is a celebration of the smart city status and a promise to further participate in keeping the city smart “A Marathon for all!”. Vadodra International Marathon  offers a variety of race categories  for separate distances and Age groups.
