Miniorange Powerthon Sprint Challenge

Hello Triathletes,

We are happy to announce a Triathlon in Pune, Sprint & Super sprint distance triathlon powered by miniOrange & Powerpeaks Athlete Lab.

Its at Balewadi Stadium, Pune on the 30th of April 2023.

The event shall run in 5 categories :

1. Elite Sprint Distance Triathlon (Swim 750m, Bike 20km, Run 5km) (Only for ITF registered athletes)

2. Amature Sprint Distance Triathlon (Swim 750m, Bike 20km, Run 5km) (For Non-ITF Athletes)

3. Elite Super Sprint Distance Triathlon (Swim 400m, Bike 10km, Run 2.5km) (Only for ITF registered athletes)

4. Amature Super Sprint Distance Triathlon (Swim 400m, Bike 10km, Run 2.5km) (For Non-ITF Athletes)

5. Para Triathlon (Swim, Cycle, Run) - for PT2, PT3, PT4

AGE GROUP – Youth (14& 15), Junior (16 & 17), Senior (18 to 40), Masters (40+)

Entry fee – Rs. 4000

Note:

Super sprint is only for age 14 & 15, Sprint is for 16+ age group.

So if you want to experience an International level race close to home, now's your chance.

The race shall be boasting an experienced crew of volunteers, nutrition support, hydration, closed route, official Photographer along with a digital finisher certificate, medal, and many more.

TOP 8 FINISHERS OF SPRINT TRIATHLON WILL BE INVITED FOR THE ASIAN JUNIOR & U23 TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS, JAPAN

JUNIORS (16 & 17) TOP 4 FINISHERS OF SPRINT TRIATHLON WILL BE INVITED FOR THE COMMONWEALTH YOUTH GAMES (TRINIDAD & TOBAGO) SELECTION TRIALS

Prize money - NA

Finisher medal - All finishers (ITF & non-ITF registrants) will be given a finisher medal.

Complimentary race kit (ITF & non-ITF registrants) - Goodie bag, T-shirts, timing chip, Bib number, Stickers, hydration, swim cap, partners' products (Depending on sponsors) can be collected at the time of reporting.

Swim - Dive start, swimming will be in a 50m x 10 lane pool

Cycle – For sprint distance 4 laps of a 5km loop, For super sprint 2 laps of 5km loop

Running – Inside Balewadi stadium complex.

Road safety – The course will be completely closed to the general public

29th April - Prerace day (Tentative)

11:00 am to 6:00 pm – BIB distribution

7:00 pm to 8:00 pm - Race Briefing

30th April - Race Day (Tentative)

5 AM to 5:30 PM – Athlete reporting & Body marking

5:30 PM to 6:00 PM - Transition open and Warm-up

6:15 AM Onwards– Sprint Distance Elite start

7.15 AM-Super sprint Start

8.00AM-Sprint Distance Non-Elite start

10 AM – Prize ceremony
