A group of young individuals is organizing a marathon centered around the theme of humanity. The event aims to bring people together and promote a sense of community, regardless of background or beliefs. Rules and Regulation:

--> Age group and event category must be strictly followed.

-->You must show photo id, date of birth proof & registration document to receive your bip and t-shirt

-->The decision of the officials is final at all stages of the event

-->Cancellations - Entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non - transferable

-->Any form of cheating, including taking shortcuts, bike, personal vehicle or any means of

     transportation and using performance-enhancing drugs will result in disqualification.

Nanganallur 5K Run - RUNNING EVENT WAIVER FORM

I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I hereby certify that I am in good health and I have trained to run the distance of the race, which I am entering. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry into this running race, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Nanganallur 5K Run Association,its officers, directors, agents, volunteers and employees or other governmental bodies or locations in which events or segments of events are held, all sponsors, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. If any illness or anything happens to me, the organisation is not responsible.

I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that bicycles,bike or any mode of transport and animals are not allowed in the event and I will abide by this policy. I also understand that baby joggers are discouraged for the safety of all participants. I am aware that the Nanganallur 5K Run strongly discourages the use of personal audio devices (iPods and MP3 headsets ).

CONSENT ON MEDIA USE OF IMAGES

By applying for and participating at Event, all the participating competitors agree to grant consent that any and all THE photographed and/or filmed material can be published, used and emitted publicly and otherwise used for the purpose of Event’s promotion.

TRANSFERS

Your entry is not transferable to another person. If you are unable to participate on the day, under no circumstances are you to give your race bib to anyone else. This is for important safety reasons.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICY

 Postpone or cancel the Event whether due to poor weather, natural disaster, pandemic outbreak, WAR, or for any other reason beyond Total Sport's control. If the Event is cancelled (or postponed and Participant cannot make the postponement date), Participant acknowledges and accepts that Participant's entry fee is non-refundable.

I have carefully read this Waiver and Release and fully understand its contents. By signing this waiver, I have indicated that I have read, understood and agreed to the Waiver and Release Form.
