Osmanabad marathon was born from the dream of a group of friends, sons of the soil who wished to bring fitness and running lifestyle to their hometown. The marathon is in its second year and already has created it's niche. It's Maharashtra's first rural marathon. The route is beautiful and scenic, a true source of joy for nature lovers. The month of December in Osmanabad is it's best weather season and hence a boost to the pleasure of running. The locals are warm and friendly and the best hosts! They participate in large numbers and take utmost care of all their friends who have come for the marathon from other parts of India.
