During these unprecedented times, a lot of what has happened in the last year was not in our hands, but what is in our capacity is to stand tall and face what life throws us next.
The Run with a heart.
Over a period of time, the running culture has grown. The consciousness of a healthy lifestyle is spoken of and practised in almost all homes. This has seen a spurt in the number of runs happening across the city all through the year.
Your own Powai Run has gone from 2,000 runners in 2012 to 16,000 runners in 2020, but all through this growth, the Run never lost its heart. It started as a fundraiser for Charities supported by Rotary Club of Mumbai Lakers and till date, 100% of the monies raised, net of expenses goes towards a noble cause.
In its 10th year, we are compelled to make changes to the format, thanks to the strange times that we live in. But we are back, with the motto of #NotGivingUpOnGivingBack in a brand new avatar. We look forward to your unflinching support, to help us continue serving the community, like we have diligently done in the past.
Distances : 5k, 10k and 21k
