Race For 7 - Kolkata - 2 Edition

ORDI (www.ordindia.in) is a national umbrella organization representing the collective voice of all patients with rare diseases in India, registered as a section 25 non-profit company in India.

We work towards connecting rare disease patients in India through various initiatives to Create sensitivity among public at large to acknowledge Rare diseases. One such major initiative is our Annual Awareness Campaign - RACEFOR7.

Race for 7 is a large-scale country-wide Awareness Campaign organized by Organization for Rare Disease India (ORDI) in line with World Rare Diseases Day.

Racefor7 has been a successful national awareness campaign that began in 2016 in Bengaluru. The number of participants in Bengaluru alone was over 3,500 in 2018. In the same year we conducted Racefor7 in Mumbai & Washington where over 1,500 & 100 supporters participated respectively. In 2019 the campaign was hosted by 9 key cities. Racefor7 symbolizes going the distance for rare diseases with people running for 7 kilometres.
