About The Infantry Marathon

The Infantry Marathon is a celebration of the courage and camaraderie of the Indian Army along with the love for fellow citizens and the nation. Every year the Infantry Marathon is organised to celebrate the Infantry Day which commemorates the landing of Infantry, the first Indian Army troops at Srinagar on 27 Oct 1947 to defeat invaders.
While the saga of battlefields and wars has lionised the Army, the motive of The Infantry Marathon is to share the love for country in equal spirit with soldiers & citizens.
“Runveer 4.0” is the fourth edition of The Infantry Marathon and celebrates the 75th Infantry Day. Run with soldiers to display your enthusiasm and patriotism.
