Dear Runners,
The Salem City Marathon is a celebration of love - a shared love for Running & Wellness. Taking place over Valentine’s Day weekend, this running event is organized and conceptualized by Ramyaa’s Eternity Fitness, founded by Coach Ramyaa Devarajan. The marathon is now in its second year after a successful first edition in 2022. This edition will also be the first event in Tamil Nadu to include all race categories: 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon (21.1K), 20 Miler (32.1K) & Full Marathon (42.2K).

Race Terms and Conditions
Qualification Criteria & Cut-off Time for Race Categories

Note : Runners reaching the finish line after cut-off time will be marked as Did Not Finish (DNF).
Qualification Window & Entry:
In order to be qualified into each race category, participants must provide a valid link that demonstrates that they have completed a race in the specified time. The qualification run for entry must be completed after January 1 2022. The last date to submit this link is 15th January 2023. If you do not meet the qualification criteria or fail to provide a link by the specified date, your race category will be downgraded.
Race Entry Changes :
Changes to the race category for upgrade and downgrades are allowed until January 15 2023. You can upgrade to a higher category by paying the difference in price if you meet the qualification conditions.

Prizes would be given as age category defined below:
Open - 18 to 34,
Veteran - 35 to 44,
Senior Veteran - 45 to 54,
Super Veteran - 55+

Formed with a vision to encourage and inspire people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, Ramyaa’s Eternity Fitness helps you reach your fitness goals by providing you the best types of workouts and nutrition plans. We provide tailored training plans for running goals, safe fat loss, strength and muscle gain. We do not encourage shortcuts or fad diets.
Our Story: Coach Ramyaa Devarajan is a certified ACE Group Fitness Trainer and has been involved in the fitness space for over 6 years. She initially started Ramyaa’s Eternity Fitness as a Zumba weight loss initiative for women, which was quickly followed by core fitness and cross training. This programme changed a lot of people's lifestyles, and in turn their energy has also changed their families.
Following the successful implementation of the programme and being a runner herself with multiple podium finishes, she started training people for running events - from total beginners to seasoned marathoners looking to achieve a time target. Over time, a local running group was formed, and they participated in marathon events as a team.
With all the years of experience, Coach Ramyaa sought to motivate a large group of people into running and fitness. Salem City Marathon was initiated by Ramyaa’s Eternity Fitness to encourage running as a lifestyle.
Sweethearts Competition - A special feature of the Salem City Marathon!
Team up with your sweetheart for a chance to win prizes. Runners have the option to enter the 10K Sweethearts Run with their Spouse or Partner. The finishing times for the two Sweethearts will be added together to compete against other couples' composite times. Couples registering for this category will not be eligible for overall podium prizes.
