Shymas Honda Alleppey Beach Run 2019 - 1 Edition

Welcome to Shymas Honda Alleppey beach run 2019. This barefoot beach run on the golden sands of Allepey beach is the maiden venture of Atletico De Alleppey – an elite and aspiring sports club of the venice of the east. Alappuzha Beach is a favourite tourist attraction in Kerala, India with excellent luxury as well as budget accomodations. Besides a vintage but functional light house, a beach park and an amusement park, The Beach has an old pier which extendsinto the sea and is over 150 years old. Thousands of national and international tourists visit the beach every week to bask in its pristine natural beauty. Alappuzha beach hosts many events annually like the Alappuzha beach festival, Sand art festival and many more.

The shymas Honda Alleppey beach run 2019 being jointly organized by Athetico De Alleppey along with the alleppey district sports council and DTPC, is an ambitious venture aimed at promotion of wellness, the concept of fitness, the benefits of running and the potential benefits of barefoot running. The run extending along the length of the scenic beach on the sun kissed golden sands, enables the runners to soak in the beauty of the coconut groves on one side and run with the waves on the other while taking in the fiery beauty of the orange globe immersing into the seas over the horizon at sunset.

The organizers have ensured the presence of hundreds of spectators on the day of the run cheering the barefoot runners. Safety precautions have been ensured along with ambulance services and a medical team. Volunteers have been appointed at numerous checkpoints to ensure safety and oversee the race.Every effort has been made to make your run as enjoyable and as meticulously planned as possible.
