Running has come a long way. From being a fringe sport, a few years back, today running is the sport of choice for all those wanting to get fit.
Marathon runners in India mark January as the start of the year with the prestigious Tata Mumbai Marathon. Almost exactly a month later, comes Tata Ultra Marathon - on 23rd February 2020.
It is certified by the Athletics Federation of India, course certified by AIMS and has been adjudged a Bronze Medal Event by International Association of Ultrarunners [IAU]. Tata Ultra Marathon covers a distance of 50 kms while the Tata Challenge Run covers a distance of 35 kms. Both race categories are open for being men and women to participate in.
