The Jumping Gorilla Trail Run – Series 2021 is in the rugged and perfectly textured ranges of Sahyadri (forest trails). It is a mind baffling route, with multiple loops to explore. Each runner will experience barely palpable and harsh craggy landscapes and precipitous mountain ranges in the course of the race. The race will be conducted within the limits of Chaurjai, Kadjai and Taljai Hills

Aid stations

Aid stations will be at 11 set locations, excluding start/finish station.

Aid stations will provide drinking water, electrolyte drink, sweet snacks, glucose biscuits, salted snacks, fruits, ice, primary first aid, recovery/resting tents.

Please plan to run with at least half to 2 litres of water with/on you, and some food for self-support during the race.

Make sure you scan your bib qr code at the aid stations.
DO NOT LITTER THE PLACE WITH ANY WRAPPERS/PLATIC/NON BIODEGRADABLE WASTE ITEMS

Parking

Parking will be available at the race venue.

You will have to reach in prior time and park your vehicle on race day in the designated parking space.

UTMB Qualifier Race

A Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) qualifying race is a race which allows, according to its difficulty, the acquisition of between 1 and 6 qualification ITRA points.

Only ITRA evaluated trail races can be qualifying races.

The Jumping Gorilla Trail Run 10km | 30km | 60km | 80km |120km categories are considered Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) qualifying race, which takes place every year in Chamonix, France. The evaluation of the races, and therefore the distribution of points, is managed by the ITRA (International Trail Running Association). The UTMB®, on the basis of the number of points attributed by the ITRA, however are alone in judging whether a race presents all the criteria to be a qualifying race.

International Trail Running Association is a global regulatory body that promotes trail running and authenticating trail running races around the globe. ITRA allots points for races so that runners around the world can participate in them to qualify for world class trail marathons like UTMB.

We have inculcated the COVID19 safety race style, depending on the course and current coronavirus situation. We intend on hosting safe and very fun races for the rest of our lives and will continue to monitor this ongoing situation.

 Please know we will never condone going against what the PMC, Pune governed authorities, Pune Forest Authorities as well as the Maharashtra governing Authorities and India governing Authorities or other governing bodies are suggesting or requiring of us during this unprecedented time. With that in mind, we do have plans (and back up plans and back up plans to our back up plans)! See below for what you can expect.
