V Anantapur Ultramarathon - 3 Edition

The fifth version of AUM will witness athletes from various nations, running in groups of four, along a stretch of 170 KMs through the local streets, village and countryside of Andhra Pradesh. The runners from the Anantapur 10K will begin independently and join the ultrarunners at the completing point. 

The V Anantapur Ultramarathon is organised by The Rural Development Trust, an NGO that works towards rural development for the past 50 years.

Are you are enthusiastic about running and social change? Then the Anantapur Ultramarathon is your chance. Known as the main relay ultramarathon in India the fifth version will be held on the 22nd and 25th January, 2020 in categories of 42K and 10K. You can rest, reprovision and connect with local communities after each 10K at the transition points. 

In the last version, runners from 6 nations took part in the two categories. At the point when you run as a group you will gain exceptional experiences with your buddies and the communities you meet en route. 

This experience goes past running. You become a piece of the #1Km1Life development! The funds raised for the current year will be utilized to develop 39 houses, streets and water facilities in Daddanala and Bilagondipenta village in Srisailam district. 

So far this activity has helped us to empower more than 800 families and enable themselves through education, medicinal services and housing projects.
